The regular elections to the VFA Board took place at the VFA General Meeting in Erfurt on 12th April 2019; the members elected the Board for a three-year term. Under the election official Werner Boehm, Honorary Member and Coordinator of the VFA Academy, the members, who attended the meeting in large number, re-elected Achim Hütter, HIEC GmbH, as their president. Also re-elected were the vice president Michael Gubisch, SCHAEFER GmbH, responsible Board member for fairs and exhibitions. Dirk Henning, Henning Baumeister GbR, stepped down as treasurer after 22 years in that office. Achim Hütter expressed thanks to him for his extraordinary commitment to the Association and the members appreciated the work done by Dirk Henning with resounding applause. Board member Birgit Zaunegger announced her readiness to step in as Treasurer of the VFA and was voted into this office unanimously by the members. The General Meeting confirmed the current four members:
- Andreas Hönnige, LiFTCORE, training and further education
- Klaus-Peter Kapp, KP-Solutions, norms and directives
- Ivette Radetzky, radetzky-vertikal, member information
- Rudolf Ramseier, Cobianchi Liffteile AG, member recruitment
in their respective offices.
Julia Mayland, Mayland Aufzüge, was elected as fifth - new – Board member. She will be responsible for press and public relations of VFA-Interlift.
Chairman Achim Hütter expressed his thanks to the members for their renewed vote of trust to the Board members for their pro bono work and the high level of commitment to the Association.
